Meet the Moment

In this year, for this year — together we make a difference.

Queens University of Charlotte Class of 2029

Meeting the moment means stepping forward with purpose, turning challenges into opportunities, and taking bold action. Gifts to the Queens Fund provide critical support for scholarships, academic programs, and the unique Queens experience, while allowing the university to remain flexible and responsive to emerging needs. Gifts to the Royals Club provide this year’s student-athletes with the resources and experiences needed to compete with excellence and thrive in a competitive Division I environment.

Together, these unrestricted funds have the greatest impact on today’s students, both in the classroom and in competition.

Join us for QUnited 2026 and make a difference — meet this moment.

FAQs

What is QUnited?

QUnited is more than just a day of giving—it’s a celebration of the Queens spirit and a chance for alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to make an immediate impact. It’s your opportunity to show your love for Queens and provide critical funding for future generations of Royals by supporting the programs and initiatives that matter most to you.

Who benefits from QUnited donations?

Students! Your support directly impacts Queens students by providing essential scholarship funds, enhancing academic programs, and enriching campus life. The Queens Fund supports every corner of campus, ensuring students receive the resources and opportunities they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

What is a match or challenge?

You can support Queens students and increase the impact of your gift by inspiring alumni and friends to join you. This is the perfect opportunity to multiply your generosity. Matches and challenges differ in that a match will match dollars as they come in. A challenge will only unlock if the designated threshold is reached. Both matches and challenges can be restricted to specific groups (e.g. affiliation, class year, designation, or a list of donor names).

When setting up your match or challenge, please consider giving your entire gift, regardless of whether the terms of your match or challenge are met

Challenge: As more donors give to a specific fund, additional dollars are added to that area. Examples of previous QUnited challenges:
  • The Alumni Association Board committed to giving $40,000 to the Queens Fund once QUnited 2023 reached 400 alumni donors.
  • Adelaide Anderson Davis ’61 challenged the classes of 2000-2012 to support Queens with a gift of any amount on QUnited. When 100 donors from these specific class years gave, her $10,000 challenge gift was unlocked.
  • The McColl School Board of Advisors committed $20,000 to inspire alumni and friends to support the McColl School Excellence Fund with 200 gifts.
Match: Every dollar given is matched by another donor’s larger donation. Examples of matches:
  • John Doe challenged the Young Alumni. He matched all gifts (up to $2,500) for those who graduated between 2013 and 2022. Young alumni were able to double their impact!
  • A gift of $5,000 was made by an anonymous donor to the Queens Fund. All gifts were matched up to $5,000.

What is a social media challenge?

Social media challenges are a fun and engaging way to boost QUnited participation. These short-term campaigns create excitement and buzz, encouraging more people to get involved. Prizes may include Queens gear, exclusive experiences, or additional gifts to the Queens Fund. Be sure to follow our social media channels so you don't miss the excitement!

Can I make a QUnited donation prior to February 19?

Yes, our QUnited campaign launches February 5 and runs through 11:59 p.m. on February 19. All gifts made during this time count toward the QUnited total.

What areas of campus can I support?

While we encourage gifts to the Queens Fund which supports all areas of campus, you are welcome to give to any fund.

Do I have to give online?
