One of the greatest comic operas ever written comes to the Queens stage; a  hilarious tale of love and politics on the high seas. Alistair Donkin, world authority in English comedic theater and former "patter-man" for the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company in England, journeys from his home in the United Kingdom to direct and star as Sir Joseph Porter, "Monarch of the Seas."

Combined Queens choirs, along with the design, communications and theater departments and a full orchestra, stage this comic masterpiece in the brand new Sandra Levine Theatre.
