2026 Alumni Awards Nomination Form

    The Alumni Association Awards recognize alumni and friends for their outstanding professional achievements and exceptional service to Queens and their communities. The deadline to submit nominations is November 1, 2025. Winners will be selected and notified in January 2026. While we often select winners in Reunion years (1s and 6s), you may nominate an individual from any class year. Awards are presented during Royal Weekend.

    The Outstanding Alumna/us Award is given to an alumna/us who has made significant achievements and gained prominence in their professional life. Service to the Alumni Association and/or Queens is not part of the criteria for this award.

    The Alumna/us Service Award is presented to an alumna/us who best embodies the Queens motto: non ministrari sed ministrare, or "not to be served, but to serve." Recipients demonstrate exceptional service to their community, the Alumni Association or Queens.

    The Graduate Alumni Achievement Award recognizes exemplary achievement and contributions to profession, discipline, community or society by alumni with graduate degrees from Queens.

    The 10 Under 10 Awards recognize 10 undergraduate alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years. Candidates for this award have distinguished themselves and made a noticeable impact in their careers, their communities and/or their service to Queens. These young alumni have made noteworthy accomplishments in a short period of time since graduating from Queens. These 10 awards will replace the Young Alumna/us Award Queens has had in the past.

    The Sed Ministrare Award was initiated in 2007, Queens' sesquicentennial year, to honor an alumna/us who has provided a lifetime of outstanding service to their community.
